How to ask Google to index a page
Google decides which pages go into search. Once a page is ready, you can ask Google to look at it again. You do this yourself in Search Console. SEO Dispatch can't press the button for you.
- Fix the reason first. Your Dashboard shows why each page isn't in Google yet.
- Open Search Console and choose your site.
- Paste the page address into the search bar at the top and press Enter.
- Click Request indexing. Google adds the page to its queue.
- Wait. It can take a few days or a few weeks. We check again each time we pull your data.
- Link to the page from your busiest pages. This helps more than asking.
- Keep the page in your sitemap.
- Ask once. Asking again doesn't make it faster.
